The main attraction for me was the block release format. As I was working full-time, I was able to fit the modules in during my holidays from work and because the course had direct relevance to my work, they allocated me extra time off to sit exams. As a technical team lead for web-based applications I found many of the modules very useful especially the course work on Design Patterns and Test Driven Development. I have incorporated concepts and practices from both of these courses in the projects I have worked on since completing the Masters. I also enjoyed the opportunity to meet software engineers from other companies at the same level as myself, many of whom I am still in contact with. Overall it was well worth the time and effort and I would recommend it to any software professional interested in a higher degree.
