Software Engineer at Terranua
I was very interested in the MSc in Advanced Software Engineering because of the course content and also the compressed schedule. The broad variety of topics dealt with from the development of agents to performance engineering provided a great follow on from software engineering topics taught at undergraduate level. The compressed part-time schedule means that the course is very accessible when working full-time.
It was a great opportunity to meet other people working in the software industry and doing group assignments with others allows everyone with different strengths and levels of experience to work together.
Doing the course and completing the dissertation is a great lesson in time management to be able to do the assignments while working full-time - it improves organisational skills, confidence and goal-orientation as well as opening the mind up to new and different aspects of software engineering.
