The ASE modules assume you have a level of experience in the software industry and are a competent programmer in some object-oriented language (Java/C#/C++/Ruby/Python/Smalltalk...). For each module there may be some compulsory preparation you need to do as well as some recommended reading that would enhance your appreciation of the lectures.

The required preparation depends on your own individual experience and programming background.
