You need a supervisor to start your project. A list of possible supervisors has been emailed to you.

Contacting a potential supervisor is a bit like a job application. Give a brief account of your background (plus e.g. your Linkedin page) to catch their interest and then either say you’re interested in doing a project in their area, or send a rough, one-page project proposal yourself.

In general, academic staff will be very open to taking on MSc ASE project students as you have a lot of experience and can really do interesting work.

The ASE_Project_Advice document on the projects main page provides some useful advice on defining a project as well.
