The ASE Project deadline falls in early September; see here for exact date.
It is usually possible to extend this deadline to mid December if you wish to. This is possible only if you have made “reasonable progress” with your project by the September deadline. The “reasonable progress” criterion is not too demanding: you must be engaged with the project and have made some progress with it.
There is no need to apply for this extension. If you miss the September deadline, the ASE board and your supervisor will decide if an extension is warranted.
There is a fee for this extension, usually about €300. The UCD Fees office set this figure on an annual basis, so contact them if you want more exact information — the School is not involved in setting or publishing fees. You will be contacted in September to register and pay this fee.
